Description

The main puropse of this role is to develop the technical competence and practical skills required to become a qualified Millwright. The role provides structured workplace learning, hands-on training, and theoretical knowledge to enable the apprentice to perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations safely and effectively. Under the guidance of experienced Millwrights and mentors, the apprentice will gain exposure to mechanical systems, tools, and processes while contributing to the smooth running of operations.

Responsibilities

• Undertake non-specialized maintenance and fault finding
• Assist with breakdown, preventative, and predictive maintenance
• Participate in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Maths and Science
• N3-N6 (with trade subjects)
• Must be between 18-35 years of age
